1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Renteez.com (the "Platform"), submitting a listing, or submitting a rental request, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, item owners ("Owners"), and renters ("Renters") who access or use the Platform.

2. About Renteez

Renteez is a peer-to-peer marketplace platform that allows individuals to list items they own for rent and allows others to submit rental requests for items they need. Renteez does not own, rent, sell, or control any of the items listed on the Platform.

Renteez does not facilitate payments, bookings, or contracts between users. All transactions occur directly between Owners and Renters.

3. Eligibility

To use Renteez, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements
• Provide accurate and truthful information in any form submission
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting a listing or rental request. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

4.2 Owners

If you list an item on Renteez, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the rightful owner of the item, or have the legal right to rent it out
• The item is safe, functional, and as described
• You have all necessary permits, licenses, or insurance required to rent the item
• You will honor commitments you make to Renters
• You will not list items that are illegal, dangerous, or prohibited (see Section 9)

4.3 Renters

If you submit a rental request, you agree to:

• Use rented items responsibly and as intended
• Return items in the same condition as received
• Comply with all terms agreed upon with the Owner
• Be responsible for any damage caused to items during the rental period

5. Renteez's Role

Renteez acts solely as an introduction service. We collect contact information from Owners and Renters and may facilitate introductions. We are not a party to any rental agreement between users and have no responsibility for:

• The condition, safety, or legality of listed items
• The conduct of any user before, during, or after a rental
• Any disputes arising between Owners and Renters
• Any loss, damage, injury, or liability arising from a rental transaction

6. Fees

Renteez is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with prior notice. We will never charge users without explicit agreement.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Intellectual Property

The Renteez name, logo, website design, and all content created by Renteez are the intellectual property of Renteez and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

By submitting content (listings, descriptions) to the Platform, you grant Renteez a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

9. Prohibited Items & Uses

You may not list or use the Platform in connection with:

• Illegal goods or substances of any kind
• Weapons, firearms, explosives, or dangerous materials
• Items that infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Stolen goods or items obtained through illegal means
• Adult content or services
• Animals or living organisms
• Items that require professional licensing (e.g., medical equipment used without qualification)
• Any activity that violates local, state, or federal law
• Spam, fraudulent listings, or deceptive content

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RENTEEZ AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the Platform
• Any rental transaction conducted between users
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your submissions
• Any conduct or content of third parties on the Platform
• Any other matter related to the Platform

IN NO EVENT SHALL RENTEEZ'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED $100 USD.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Renteez and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

12. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. RENTEEZ DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS. For full details, see our Disclaimer.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to remove any listing, reject any rental request, or suspend access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
